The Advanced Foundation Programme
The advanced foundation programme prepares students for entry to British Universities. The programme is also accepted for entry to American Universities with credit recognition according to the syllabus of each University/College. At Alpha Institute Athens there are three main sections:
- Science, Engineering and Technology.
- Economics and Business.
- Humanities, Law and Art.
The subjects offered are listed below. However if there is a requirement for subject(s) not listed, arrangements can be made to satisfy the particular need. For each section there is a particular selection of subjects and students are required to adhere to this selection in order to satisfy the entry requirements.

Students on the Advanced Foundation Programme usually take four subjects according to their pathway. All students are provided with a description of the syllabus at the beginning of their course. A study plan for each student is also carefully explained. A continuous assessment tests (CATS) is in place to ensure that each individual student is effectively progressing towards successful completion of the programme.
Master Qualifying Programme
The Master Qualifying Programme prepares students who are University/College graduates to enter postgraduate in British, American and other higher learning establishments where the language of instruction is English. The Master Qualifying Programme has components that enhance the ability of a graduate student to fulfill the demanding requirements of a postgraduate course. The students, in addition to their classroom studies, will be expected to take up a considerable amount of self study and research. The course components are:
- English for Academic Purposes.
- General Academic skills (academic writing, word processing, presentations, research, reporting, dissertations, project work, public speaking).
- Research.
- Case studies to enhance the experience on various subjects.
- Tests (IELTS, TOEFL, GMAT).
- University applications. University students are assisted to complete and submit their applications to the University of their choice.

It is accredited by the Hellenic Ministry of Education with the act 182/16-9-86. It is also fully accredited UCAS College with the number 48588.
All pre-University courses are fully validated and the syllabus of the subjects in the foundation programmes is equivalent to GCE Advanced Level (UK).
